Stewardship

What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is the effort to manage, protect, and preserve the natural resources of an area.  At Weeks Bay Reserve, good stewardship practices are utilized to protect, enhance, and restore ecological integrity within the Reserve for long-term research, education, and management.  Reserve programs provide outreach and instruction on the use of good stewardship practices and use of these practices in the coastal community.
